The day is cold and he doesn't have gloves, but somehow he can't bring himself to leave the plant on the street. After warming his hands in a café and cleaning the plant, he takes it with him to a collective accommodation facility for refugees. At the entrance checkpoint, he asks the security guards if he can take it with him, but is told no.
