Charlie’s been reading the journal that Francis left behind. Charlie’s mother, Mary, has left him in charge of the family dog, Sticks, for a few days. After Sticks starts bringing home strange bones from the forest, Charlie begins having mysterious dreams of events foretold in Francis’s journal. Charlie uncovers a deeply buried family secret, but on the other side of it, finds himself unsure of who or what to believe.
