Ayşe comes from a wealthy, modern, and religious family and is deeply committed to her faith. Cenk, on the other hand, leads a secular lifestyle and envies Ayşe's way of life. Cenk promises to change and live a proper life to win Ayşe’s heart. The couple gets married, but shortly afterward, Cenk breaks his promise to Ayşe by returning to his old habits of alcohol, gambling, and drugs. Ayşe makes great efforts to save her beloved husband from his addiction.
