The owner of the passenger ship, where he hides in a cabin, is the spoiled daughter of a wealthy family who has been abandoned by her fiancé. The girl meets the young man hiding on the ship and takes a liking to him. When they arrive in Istanbul, she introduces the young man she has been with throughout the journey to her family. The wealthy family hosts parties at their home for their friends. The girl's boyfriend also attends these parties. However, the man, who is not accustomed to such society parties, cannot seem to fit in.
