    本片主要講述了達比·卡拉什（Darby Crash），與其所在的“細菌”樂隊（The Germs）的興起與衰落。在被一所洛杉磯高中強迫退學後不久，達比和好朋友成立了著名的細菌樂隊。與常愛裝藝術的紐約朋克，以及倫敦那些雖熱情洋溢卻處於業餘水平的毛頭小子相比，它擁有著一種總體上更強硬的震動。細菌樂隊不夠純熟的原型硬核和充斥著焦慮的歌詞，為洛杉磯成為從音樂形式向硬核方向過渡的中心作出了自己的貢獻。可惜 1980 年，年僅 22 歲的達比就因吸食毒品過量而死，細菌樂隊也不復輝煌。...
