They live an isolated life, marked by the routine of charcoal production and the weight of the absence of her mother, whose death at an early age is a mystery. Juana begins to feel attracted to an area of the mountain in which there is a strange house in ruins, which seems to contain some key to that past. Her visits awaken in her a need to know more about what happened. As the search for the truth becomes more chaotic, Juana’s feelings for her father could lead her to make a drastic decision.
